Law Corporations
A law corporation is a company issued a permit by the Law Society to carry on the profession of a barrister, solicitor and attorney in the province.

Lawyers may form a Law Corporation by meeting the requirements of the Legal Profession Act and Regulations, including acquiring a corporation’s Letters Patent through the province’s Director of Corporations, and by applying to the Law Society for a permit.

A Law Corporation must renew its permit by June 15 each year.
