Parenting and the Law - Free Public Legal Information Event (Charlottetown)
Date: Wednesday, October 29, 2025
Time: 6:00 PM
Location: Law Society of PEI, Education & Resource Centre, 119 Kent Street, Suite 300, Charlottetown, PE
Join us for a free, public legal information session on Parenting and the Law — designed to help parents, guardians, and caregivers better understand their legal rights and responsibilities upon separation.

The session will begin with a short, plain-language presentation on topics such as parenting time arrangements, decision-making responsibility, and communication between co-parents. After the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a volunteer lawyer for a mini consultation to discuss their specific questions or concerns.

Because space and time are limited, mini consultations will be available to the first registered participants who indicate their interest. We will do our best to accommodate as many attendees as possible.

Participating lawyers include Kassia Curley (Cox & Palmer), Pragya Chowdhury (Cox & Palmer), Amber Wilson (Key Murray), Janko Predovic (Heritage Law), and Taya Nabuurs (Stewart McKelvey).

Register here or by calling 902-566-1666.
